I got mine 1 week ago today, the dealer in Prince George BC had to get it from Alberta. Apparently I got the only performance blue in Canada that has nav, grey wheels and moon roof, we'll at least right now. It's sitting in driveway, waiting for winter tires. And Ford's winter tire package is all back ordered for the 16" wheels.

I've had mine for over 2 weeks now. The dealership didn't have one and they did order one but after a month of waiting with no production date in site I had them find one. They did find one in western Ontario and I had it in my hands in a week.

Got mine August 29. It was supposed to go in Alberta but customer cancelled his order or something like that, so a dealer in my town had it delivered here instead. The day they received it, the dealer called me for a road test. I was the first to drive it, I bought it immediately after.

GTA dealers still don't have anything. I've left my cell with them and I am waiting to get a phone call as soon as one comes in. That being said, if any forums members would like to meet up and show me their car (Toronto area) it would be awesome. I will even buy a coffee. :) Thanks.

Most of us that have them in the North America market have waited at least that shipping out of Mexico is just wonky .. Mine took two weeks to get loaded on a train .. Then about ten days to get to Chicago where it was put on a truck ... 10 to 16 weeks is the norm. Not like a Mustang that takes about 6 wks ...

What is the dealer's explaination for this delay? Any other cdn members that had to wait this long?
They said they don't know, It's not their problem. (WTF!)
But actually ,around 13 weeks are normal. As far as I know ,So far, the most people get their FiST around 13 weeks or more in Canada. since they ordered. Dealer just want push you pay the money and tell u a inaccurate lead time.

Yeah... I just called in for an update. I will probably have to wait another month or two. Oh well... at least there are some upsides to waiting! When the car finally arrives it will be that much more exciting =)

To be honest though, they aren't the bad guys. It just shows that Ford corporate has not forecast the sales of the car very accurately. A dealer is just told to push the product and leave it up to Ford to deliver.

Of course they push you to pay because that is their job. They tell you an inaccurate lead time because Ford tells them that.

I just want to give an update to anyone who bought a FiST in Canada. According to my dealer any orders placed that were not in the first round of manufacturing will be made sometime in January. So if you are awaiting this could be good news depending on far along your order is.

So if you are thinking about placing an order now might be the time to do it so you do not have to wait that long!
