I think I bought the first Fiesta ST in AR & I love this car, I've owned a 2002 Focus SVT & this new car reminds me alot of how the SVT handled.

I hope the tire companies come out with more higher performance tires for this car because when I put better tires on the old SVT that car handled alot better than the ol Conti-sports.

I wonder how many people who bought, or are planning on buying, an FiST owned a SVT Focus (between the forums, I see it as a recurring theme)

I had a 2002 SVT Focus. Excellent driving car, reliability was terrible. I owned it for 12 months (or so) and it was in the shop for about 3 of those months. I traded it in while it was in the shop because I couldn't take it anymore.

Here's to hoping the ST is better in that department.

I had about (3) issues in the first year with the Focus SVT & after that it was soild car for 5 year & then I sold it. I hope the ST is better in the reliability department too.

Only issue i ever had with my SVT was the flywheel chatter that got replaced via warranty. My buddy had the same thing. In the 4 years i owned it since new that was the only issue. My buddy has had his going on 10 years now and only major issue was the clutch and a seat bolster he had replaced. Hoping the FiST is just as reliable!

Actually I might have beat you to he title of "first Fiesta ST in Arkansas". I got the Race Red one from Crain in Jacksonville around September the 4th-5th

Anyway, cool to see a few others in AR, I don't really see many 2014 Fiestas on the road at all, much less STs.
