Looking to get a SeaSucker Talon to lug around a road bike. Has anyone put one on their car? Any feedback good or bad would be much appreciated.

I have thought about this too...I just know that my 36lb Downhill bike isn't very stable on an actual roof rack. I wonder if this would be stable?

Mine will be delivered tomorrow. I got 20% off a Talon from REI's current member sale. I've read a lot of positive reviews from cycling forums... looking forward to using mine.

Ole my stars !! You have an "oil and coil" rear shock too !! I thought i was the only one still rocking one, lol.

In the downhill world the coil shock still reigns supreme. Air is great but it's susceptible to heat soak and will never be as plush. Downhill bikes aren't for weight weenies so Air isn't seen as often. It's nice but no one has been able to meet what a coil shock can withstand
