I recently added a blow off valve to my 2015 FiSt. I was on the interstate, and decided to send it, and I dropped it into 4th, and all of a sudden, I lose power and my check engine light comes on. Well I drove it to the nearest parts store and they came back with a code of P0299: Turbo underboost. Well I went to the gas station next door, let it idle, and it was fine. Well I decided to rev it to listen to my turbo, and the rpms shot down and it almost died, twice. After that it was fine again. And now, when I’m in high boost, the rpms start acting all funny and it acts like it wants to die on me. The BOV I got, the previous guy who sold it to me, said the sensor went bad on it once and he had to replace it. Could the sensor on the BOV gone bad again, and could this cause my issues? Or is it something with the turbo or lines?? Has anyone experienced a bad turbo smart BOV sensor?
