cp-e™ Ford Fiesta ST Nexus™ 3″ Cat Back Exhaust

Ford Fiesta ST Nexus™ 3″ Cat Back Exhaust

When cp-e™ set out to make the Nexus™ exhaust system, they were looking to offer the market something of the highest quality and performance. With the Nexus™ System, cp-e™ has succeeded in developing an aggressive exhaust that still gives a close to stock highway sound without having any large restrictive mufflers. With only a straight through resonator and a custom-tuned StealthPipe™, cp-e™ has a developed an exhaust that promises a stock-like sound…until WOT of course! This exhaust not only promises the best of both worlds by itself, but has also been tested with an off-road downpipe to verify that both the grocery getter and the hardcore racer will be happy.

Comparison with stock downpipe/stock exhaust vs stock downpipe/ Nexus™ 3″ Cat Back Exhaust vs catless QKspl™ Downpipe/ Nexus™ 3″ Cat Back Exhaust
.Complete with decibel readings at idle. Coupled with a catted downpipe vs a catless, the catted will be a bit quieter. The resonator delete pipe will make the exhaust louder. The difference in sound between the single tip and dual tip is very minimal and not really noticable.

"custom-tuned StealthPipe" - please tell me what this is and how it works.

The stealth pipe is actually what called a Helmholtz Resonator. It's the extra pipe that is above the exhaust tip. We have adjusted the cap during R&D to tune out any drone and provide the best sound. This video explains it best.

So is that top pipe just sitting up behind the bumper? Definitely a strange setup, in for vids!
