So I bought a 2j racing downpipe and I've heard people say about taking it out through the top? Just want to hear everyone's opinions on which way you guys have done it!! I feel like it couldn't be harder todo from below. Thanks nate

Take it out the top here is a DIY LINKY

I removed it from the bottom. Only thing I removed from the top was air intake pipe to turbo so I could get my arms behind the motor and remove top 02 and shield bolts, then I spun the shield towards drivers side to remove the 3 downpipe to turbo bolts. After that I pulled it through the bottom leaving shield up top until the downpipe was removed. Toughest part besides removing top 02 was twisting downpipe past shield attached to the firewall.

Took mine out from the bottom as well, that damn mounting bracket on there made it quite difficult to maneuver it out though

Thanks for the replys guys! Gonna be installing tomorrow! I'll make a before and after exhaust video! I'm excited! Haha
