Just an update for those who haven't/didn't purchased an extended warranty from Ford after the initial 3yrs/36 months. I've already posted on my previous repairs, so I'm letting you know about my recent problems. First, my radiator was found to be leaking (it was 6 yrs old) and it was also found that there was damage to the steering and my H & R front passenger side coil over. I purchased two new front suspension units at a cost to me for similar items. The cause of the problems was that I was unable to avoid a pothole on the 5 Fwy here in LA and it affected my steering as a result. Once again, the extended warranty came to my rescue and what would have cost around $2,600 to fix, I paid only the $100 deductible plus the cost of the new shocks. The warranty is paying for itself and then some!
