I know we have a thread going on how we old people are buying this thing, but I want to see the breakdown on this forum!

58! And I've been racing AutoX and time trials since 1974. So don't call me gramps, or I'll run you off the track LOL

And FYI - Paul Newman was still winning in Porsches at age 87!

I am really not surprised about the age of the buyers for this car. I am 43. With a few mods the Fiesta is a $25K car. Put 10% down and finance for 5 years, it still has a payment in the mid $300s. Not doable for a lot of young buyers. Now in 3-5 years, once the cars can be bought used for the mid to upper teens we'll see the age group of the owners shift.

I debated about responding to CNBRD's question about the dude between 66-75. So, here I am. I've been piloting high performance cars and bikes for over 50 years. Without taking up a lot space here with my many experiences building, driving/riding and racing in several types of sanctioned racing events (some NOT sanctioned!), I decided to order the Fiesta ST to keep the flame burning a little longer. The long wait between ordering the FiST and hopefully seeing it before year-end can be a little more "serious" for guy my age!
