Ford Fiesta ST v Renault Clio RS200: Comparison Review |*CarAdvice

I think this is a new review...although there are so many of these, they sometimes slip through. Found it today at least...

Yeah but that Clio looks pretty ugly to me...

I think they mostly preferred the Fiesta ST. The Renault does look dated to me. Round and pudgy. Kind of squishy. Attributes that I probably should not be overly critical about, on a personal level.

That did only pop up today or yesterday. I think the Clio looks pretty amazing on the outside but the inside is quite ugly and overdone (especially with the optional coloured inserts - blegh). The Black on Black looks drool worthy but it wouldn't fare a chance against the Fiesta because of a) Price, b) Auto Only and c) 5 Doors (We get only 3 doors in Aus). So pretty much everything against it.

The Clio is murder around B-roads (no idea what they call them in the States....... bendy, tight roads perhaps?), and the Fiesta trounces it. I've raced my mate in his RS a few times, and he can't compete. Having said that, it's a very nice car.
