So within the past couple days or so iv'e noticed a gas smell when getting out of car, tracked it to the exhaust. I always run 93 oct, could it be a clogged injector, or something with the tune? Completely stock 9000 miles no problems so far. Any Thoughts?

I get no gas smell, but stinky smell...this is the same smell I smelled from a Ferrari....maybe a performance car smell....we aren't driving an Escort...who knows...once you're rolling, it's gone...unless you have a leaking gas tank or leaky fuel line....are you sure it's a gas smell?

Running 93 on the factory ecu may run a little rich with no intake. it does learn, but without seeing a stock checkup on 93 I can't say if it can make up the difference. This car is designed to run on many other lower grade fuels.

But see, that's just the thing, you're driving the equivalent of a 2014 Escort GT. It's most definitely not a Ferrari or a Corvette or anything else, it's just a performance variant of the cheapest Ford car. Not to say that's a bad thing either (this car is lots more fun to drive on the streets than my '14 Mustang GT was).
