I love it! I also have a '98 ZX-6R -- carbureted, so power delivery isn't linear like a fuel injected vehicle -- and the rush I get in the Fiesta ST when the boost kicks in is damn near similar. I've never owned a new car, so I was outside this morning babying it -- took a warm, wet cloth and wiped down the lower fairings, especially near the wheel wells, to clean up the spent rubber.

How did the car handle the trip?

Car handled the trip beautifully. I averaged right about 30mpg with some very spirited back roads driving in the mountains. Car now has 2448 miles on it This thing was totally meant for backroads driving. It was unbelievable how fun and entertaining it was. Never felt like it needed more power and the grip levels were phenomenal for the skinny 205's. My buddy and I had huge smiles across our faces for hours and are planning a trip back there.
