I have only had my FiST 2 weeks and it seems to be a nicely built car for such a reasonable price tag. How is everyones car going as far as interior rattles and creaks go and how old is the car? (kms etc).

2.5 years, 32k km. All rattles I've had have been there from the beginning few months. Main one is somewhere around the rear window or spoiler, but I've just gotten used to it as opposed to spending hours trying to locate/fix it.

I have one inside the dash, goes away after I switch the A/c on. 65000kms and 1.8 years

Sounds pretty decent so far. Considering the firm ride i thought they really would be a rattle box after a good 30 000kms. Thanks for the feedback so far guys.

Hi all my car is 8 months old and has always had what sounds like a rear window glass or plastic trim rattle generally only when cold? I had ford take a look it they found no evidence of a cause. It's weird, in warmer weather it tends to disappear.

I get the odd noise from my parcel tray over bumps but thats it. Im sure as it ages new noises will pop up. But its a hell of a alot better then most new cars i have driven.

i don't notice rattles because EVERYTHING seems to rattle lol.

There's a rattle in the dash behind the glove box (nothing actually in there, since I removed it and there's still a rattle), and the plastic around the shift lever squeaks like crazy. One of these days I will rip it off and line it with foam or something.

6 months in and I have for the first time heard a very light crackle or vibration coming from the tweeter on the passenger side. It was persistently there one morning until I stopped the car, got out and came back 2 hours later and it was gone. Very strange

Does it stop once the engine has warmed up?
