I am a retired mechanical engineer that designed and built 2 and 4 stroke engines for 20 something years. Break-in is more important than you think, despite manufacturers almost completely ignoring that fact in the owners manual. Once you get some miles on these cars they will run even better... I've driven 10+ new units (test driven cars I had no intentions of buying..lol) and they certainly were not created equal. One even had a check engine light and would not make power. heh. It appears the dyno runs are all over the place right now (but each dyno is different and each run is only as good as the operator). My FiST has less than 100 miles on it. I was lucky as I took delivery of the car within 24 hours of it being dropped. Only 8 miles on the ODO. If anyone would like break in tips with detailed information, drop me a PM.
