On the official Ford website it says the Electrochromic auto-dimming rearview mirror is standard on the ST.On all pictures I have seen of ST's and including the Fiesta ST's at the Ecoboost challenge, they had the manual dipping rear-view mirror. We paid last night for a Fiesta ST which has the manual mirror.Anyone know what the ST should have?2014 Ford Fiesta ST | The 2014 Ford Fiesta ST | Ford.com

Hmm. We do get the auto-dimming rear view mirror feature here. Maybe they got the specs mixed up.

That said, the spec guide over here said auto up/down windows for the drivers side only. It actually has it for both windows!

Yes that is what I expect. I want to fit the auto-dimming, homelink mirror like I used in my Focus ST. I mentioned it to the manager as we were justing talking while we were waiting for the inspection sticker.Hopefully the wiring is there for the mirror and its just a connection required. It is only the drivers window that is auto on ours, which is what is advertised.I wonder if it is something that can be reprogrammed somehow.I would love to have auto on all windows. You say both windows, not auto on all 4?

We only get the two door model here so only two windows!

First mod. Bought a dimming mirror with 3 button home link. Fitted nicely.
Wiring was a bit of a pain, no plug.
Used 2 wires from interior light and 1 wire going to sunroof.
Ordered a Proclip phone mount, received the 3m spray on paint protector, got a couple of chips so ordered Dr Color Chip.
Need to fix that first.

I bought the same mirror which I fitted in my FoST.
The pictures did not come out too well, one picture has the original rear view mirror held below, (that one is upside down).

The original mirror is held in place with a spring clip.
Use a small bladed screwdriver in the slot in the bottom of the mirror.
At the same time pull up on mirror to slide it off.
The new mirror slots on the fitting on the windscreen.
Instead of using a spring clip, it has a torx screw.
A more secure way of holding it as the new mirror is heavier.

Not meaning to grouse, but it's surprising the things that manufacturers leave off, or don't offer. How expensive can it be to make all windows auto-up/down? How hard can it be to offer Homelink or equivalent? I mean if you can wire the car with two USB ports and an SD card slot? Puh-leez.
