So I was wondering if anyone knew how restrictive the stock exhaust is with an unmodified engine with the default tune or with a tune. If the stock down pipe cat is gutted (or an aftermarket down pipe is installed) would it be as effective as a full aftermarket exhaust for reducing spool up times? I'm not really interested in making my ST louder, since it's my DD, but if I can reduce spool up easily I'd be happy.
