I put a set of winter wheels and tires on my 2014 FiST without TPMS installed in them. Is there a way to turn off TPMS monitoring? My guess is no, but I thought I would put it out there. Thanks!

Given that it is a federal law that the systems be in cars made after 2007 I'd be willing to bet that there isn't a way to do it. I've heard of people making up a pvc tube and putting the sensors into the side of that and pressurizing it and keeping it in the trunk so that the car thinks everything is good, and then they don't have to put sensors in two sets of tires.

I just googled and found this from an inferior car manufacturer forum, though I've known of people with Fords (specifically on one of the Mustang forums) doing it as well:
