That has yet to be found. New car and new motor. Time will tell. The small turbo should be no.surprise though. How else did you think they got such fantastic throttle respone?

Not much. Ford has stated they've highly tuned this 1.6 to get the maximum from it. Hence why you are not seeing a lot of tuners coming out with maps. They're not getting as much as they would like.

Mountune and Bluefin are already at the peak of what can be pushed out without going bigger turbo. Don't expect more than 210 horse or so.

It's only a 1.6. Not a twin turbo V8! Take it for what it's worth.

FWIW, this car was not built for 1/4 mile times. It is a Euro designed hot hatch, made for the twisties. That is where the real fun is, anyway. And being a lightweight FWD, it can handle only so much power before the wheels spin.

My advice, put your money into the handling of this car. Make it take the turns like a Miata.

Yup. Its a small car meant to be fun to drive but not fast. Sub 7s 0 to 60 miles is more than decent. No other car in the same class and price range can touch it when it comes to fun factor cornering and overall experience.

Go to ATP's website! There are something like 6 aftermarket Garrett turbos for the FiST! The smallest yields over 300 crank hp. First three models require NO engine rebuilds. They show a FiST that does a 12.4 quarter!
