Inspired by some of the other what did you do posting in some of the VWVortex forums, I thought It would be cool to have one those posting here. I know it might not be too early for any type of work done to our cars, but who knows, maybe some people like to get their hands dirty or want to show off some new wheels or fixed something minor, hopefully nothing breaks this early. Hopefully this topic stays around.

I fixed my hatch back tray clip, since my 7 year old accidently yanked the little cable off:mad:. He had broken the clips to one side, so it would not secure. I just used a some super glue I had around and just glued it, you can't tell it was glued unless you look on the bottom like in one of the pics. I'll post pics later. Water Metal

I explored under the hood. I pulled the top ST shroud off the motor to get a better view. I turned the shroud over and what did I see? Made in Germany...pretty cool. Yes this is a Euro bred Hot Hatch!
Interesting, I heard the engine was shipped over from England, off to google later to find my answer.

Well at least the shroud is made in Germany. When I changed my sparkplugs on my 03' Mazda 6s I removed the intake manifold to get to the back three cylinders and on the underside of that was... the Ford oval! VW/Audi/Lambo/bugatti? Not many degrees of separation between Makes!?

I moved mine into the garage, had about 6 inches of snow a few days ago. I can attest the summer tires are horrible in the snow, but I already knew that. What waiting for Ford to get me my winter tire package, so it will sit in the garage until the winters come in.
