Inspired by some of the other what did you do posting in some of the VWVortex forums, I thought It would be cool to have one those posting here. I know it might not be too early for any type of work done to our cars, but who knows, maybe some people like to get their hands dirty or want to show off some new wheels or fixed something minor, hopefully nothing breaks this early. Hopefully this topic stays around.

The other day I hit 25k miles. Did an oil change. Switched to Mobil 1. Have taken two of my 500 mile round trip drives and saw a 3 to 4 mpg increase. Anyone else switch oil ?

Topped off with pure 93 fuel, no ethanol and added a can of Seafoam. Did the same to the FoRS. I’ll do the same to the FoST in a few days.

Ordered the new mk8 ST in magnetic grey metallic with all options available.

Nice with LSD diff, panoramic roof, leather/Alcantara seats, launch control, LED headlights, 18” rims, backup camera, Apple CarPlay, b&o stereo with subwoofer, tinted rear windows.

Now the waiting game starts...

Fitted a K&N pod filter and adapter. A bit childish but will keep me entertained for a while.

I should of done a back to test of intake charge temp on the Mtune handset as it's probably getting a lot more warm air now.

Finished the rotor and brake pad swap.

Decided to put on the snow shoes and Mountune mudflaps.
