I am in Denmark WI. I have a Focus ST, but my wife is looking at a Fiesta ST.
Nice that would be fun to have both ST's so we could get real world feedback :)
WELCOME

When did you order to get a VIN and build date already? I ordered 7/23 and no notice. Fiestast.com said it would be the end of Sept before any started arriving at dealers. Visit Door County and maybe you will see a white Fiesta ST cruising the highway.
Got my VIN last week from dealer with a build week of Sept 9 possible no ETA on getting to Wausau I'm thinking based on other info from others that have VIN and build date of Sept 5 ETA week of Oct 15. I might see my car before November if all goes well.. Just intime for break in and snow tires LOL

Nice. What is the rim/tire?

I have to work out a snow solution before I pick up my st (sw Michigan).

Tire Rack close outs MSW Type23 15 inch on a set of onsale blizzaks 195/55/15 I did them just to get some cost effective cold weather tires on as the temp here are mid 40's for Highs and the Summer tires were getting a little slickery at times ;)

I just picked up my Performance Blue Fiesta ST last Monday! I'm in Madison - so I was glad to see a Wisconsin thread. I've only seen two Fiesta's other than my own, and both were on dealer lots. I'm looking at Winter Tire/Wheel combos right now. I'm probably going to jump on a set of Blizzaks mounted on 15" steelies from Tire Rack. I don't know the offsets, but it seems like they should clear the brakes. Ideally I'd like to get a set of Sparco Terra's, but with everything combined, it seems to be a little much for a winter package.

What are some thoughts on TPMS sensors? Seems to be split down the middle on people who do get them and those who don't.
On Hondas, you cannot turnoff the traction control if you do not have tpms.. . deadly for snows.
Don't know if ford is the same way.

I did not know this and since our Honda Fit is a 09 it has nothing like traction control so I didn't both with TPMS for the winter wheels we run on it we just put up with the light all winter .. I have yet to see the dash light on the ST and its been away from the tires over night at my work... but is in the same garage as the tires when parked... I did have TC in sport mode the other day but like I said I have yet to see the TPMS light... (on a side note when I put track wheels and tires on my FRS it would take about 45 minutes for the car to notice it was not near the wheels and the AutoX wheels didn't have sensors)
Time will tell I guess ....

Oh and WECOME ALL from the Badger State :)

FWIW, though born & raised in Steger, Illinois, lived in SoCal from 84-07, and now in the Dallas area (and HATE IT!!!!!), I sort of consider Wisconsin as my old 2nd home. From 1976 till 1984 when I moved to SoCal, Road America had been my home away from home, and the college dorm rooms in Sheboygan and Siebkins Inn in Elkhart Lake were where I slept. I was a paddock marshal, then a course marshal at RA for most of those years, and miss that track, the wonderful people, and the city!

Also miss the 3 B's too, Beer, Brats, and the Wisconsin BABES, LOL.

Ran a few track events there with the Alfa clubs. Was good buddies with Peter "PD" Cunningham and his gang (way before his Realtime days).

And always had a blast "hazing" rookie SCCA workers by bringing them to The Safe House in Milwaukee on the way back from the races.

LOL well if you haven't been to RA since then I think that was around the time we stopped going in the mid to late 80's . ITs all grown up not so much dirt and lots of paved area heck we had a parking lot autoX inside the track while the had local racers on the big track and then there is the Briggs go cart play area that the Fox Valley club had two events on this year that I missed .. Hope to get back to RA as well as BHF more as my work allows :)

Yes, I was last at RA around 1983. Hated it went they went sort of corporate, and ALL the brat stands were now owned by one company! Used to be able to go to different stands and each had their own way of cooking their brats.

Do you remember the fresh cut french fry stand by the main entrance? I loved those fries! Frequented there so much, the girls got to know me by name, LOL. Sadly yet again, when it went corporate, that was gone too.

BHF, oh man! Remember when the owner also owned a paving company, and he'd use the track as his test bed for new formulas? You never knew what type of pavement you'd be racing on, till you got there. And even then, it would change from one turn to the next.

If you were doing time trials at BHF when I was racing there, maybe we might have met? My one car was a pumpkin colored 1969 Lotus Europa S2. But there, I was better known for my white 1979 Mazda RX7. It was modified for the ASP class, so had headers (no cat or thermal reactor) back into a 7" Supertrapp, which I would gut to make it a wide open megaphone. It was soooo loud, my buddies could tell what gear I was in, at any part of the track cause they could hear my exhaust, LOL. As the exhaust had no restrictions, and I had modified the 4bbl card to open wide when I needed, I would be screaming up to 9000 rpm.

Those were the days!

Hey guys, I am from the FocusST forums. We have a picture game going on and the next challenge is a picture with a Fiesta ST. If any of you guys are in Madison and want to meet up to help me let me know. Good excuse to meet up with some other ST owners anyways!
Thanks We do our AutoX down around Madison when weather permits with the MSCC. Perhaps we will see you then :)

I plan on going to an AutoX event now that I know they exist locally! Thanks for the heads up. Still looking for someone to meet up to snap a couple pics of our cars.
When and where are you planning to meet up ??
Also here is a link to Madison Sports Car Club they don't have the Schedule up yet but they tend to hold their events around the area at the local race tracks like these. Though this year I think they are trying to get R.A. Kart track to run on..
2013 MSCC AutoX Schedule
Columbus 151 Speedway April 28
Jefferson Speedway May 19
Madison International Speedway June 23
Jefferson Speedway July 21
Road America SATURDAY August 17
Madison International Speedway September 22
Miller Park October 20

Nice, I am 30 minutes from three of those locations. No excuse to not go. Hopefully my skills are up to snuff. I am on the east side of Madison and work nights right now. I would be willing to drive some place to meet up, either just a parking lot for pics or a little cafe to grab a bite or drink.
Would love to work this out just need a break in the weather to take some of the slop off the roads as it sits now my blue car looks like a salt lick for deer ...
fyi we are up in Wausau so it would be a day trip for us.. not a big deal just need to work it out.. ;)
