So I got a low battery warning on my IPC a couple days ago and since it is persistent every time I turn the car on I figured it wasn't just the cold. I have a few batteries laying around for other things so I gave it a go today. In the past I have seen people talk about prying the case open between the side buttons that release the cover, but knowing me I would manage to break something doing that. So I decided to tackle it a little differently, which actually turned out to be quite simple in the end.

First off, you will need the following:
1. A CR2032 Battery
2. A small flat head screwdriver
3. Your key

First: Remove the cover by pushing the buttons on the side of the fob and pulling it off

Second: Remove the physical key from the fob and insert your screwdriver in the end that hides the tip of the key and push the tip down. This will separate the two pieces slightly.

Third: Insert the screwdriver from the outside and pop the pieces apart. They will already be separated enough that you won't have to gouge the exterior to do so.

Fourth: Replace the CR2032 battery

Fifth: Put the fob back together. Be careful when doing so, there is a tab that needs to be lined up and could be broken if it is not. Insert it in the correct hole and snap the two pieces back together.

Then you are all done!
