The mountune plate i added rattles so much!

 

Just go to Home Depot and grab some rubber stoppers for plumbing and stick them to the back of the plate, done and done!

 

Have your state get better plates.

Mine fits nice and snug. I thought the lower bumpers were pretty cool, actually.

 

I used all weather foam tape from Home Depot on the back of mine, mostly to stop the rattling from my sub, but it would work equally well for your problem too.

 

Weather strip it!

 

I put a couple of plastic washers behind the bolts at the top. Might help flatten the plate.

 

If you take the time to line up the holes in your license plate with the rubber bumpers on the car (you might have to align/bend the plate a little) it fits just fine.

Although posting dramatic threads trashing the car for your own impatience might work as well.

 

Is it just not lined up or does he have to drill out the lower holes? Hard to tell from the pix.

 

I used some rubber plumbing washers about 1/4" thick behind the plate on the top two screws to even out with the bottom of the plate once screwed down. Fit's nice and snug while still allowing the lower rubber bumpers to still poke through the two lower holes on the plate.

Are you happy with your rb mudflaps, the way they fit on your car and everything?
I think they look great and thinking of getting some.

 

I like them! The rears install and fit easier than the fronts.

 

Simple: First clip the little rubber nibs that support the bottom of the plate.....leaving the larger rubber bumpers in place. The plate won't stick out so far. Then get a good, solid metal license plate frame. Tighten it down, and that should solve your problem!
